So I can now announce…
The whole cast of the national tour of Jersey Boys will be appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, on Monday, March 19th. It’s beyond exciting to think that I will be performing on The Tonight Show. We just had a rehearsal for it this afternoon, and we have a great medley to perform which features 3 songs from the show. Which 3 you ask? Tune in on the 19th and find out.
The show’s director, Des McAnuff, came into town on Wednesday, to watch a few shows, and to give us some notes. It was so gratifying to hear that after being open since Decemeber, our show has only gotten better, and to hear that he was so pleased with the work that everyone was doing was so great to hear. He also plugged in some new things and twirked things that had grown in the wrong direction. I’m always interested to see how those things happen and how to then get them back to the correct way. All in all, it was great to see him and hear what he had to say. Before leaving today, he took us all out for drinks last night at the Redwood Room at the Clift.
Last but not least, I’ve recorded a new episode of Green Room Radio! The show will be put up later this evening, after the show. While it’s pretty much just me rambling on about what I have been up to since May, (the last time I did an episode of GRR), it was a blast to get back into the swing of things. I hope you check it out. There will be a link here later today when I post.
Ok…show time.

Wow! That’s fantastic! On the Late Show? That is beyond cool. I’m so happy that you guys are getting this opportunity to show the rest of America your talent! Do you know who is going to be on the show with you that night?

Thank GOD I have a TiVo. The VHS tape would wear out so friggin quickly, it’s not even funny. Digital makes everything better.
It’ll be interesting to see how the show has changed from last Saturday when I go on Sunday. Hopefully Des hasn’t taken out all your fabulous quirks.

I can’t wait to tune into Jay Leno on the 19th! I think the fact that you guys were invited to perform on The Tonight Show is a testament to how amazing the Jersey Boys tour is. I mean, not many other touring companies get that kind of press! Congratulations to all of you! You deserve it! By the way, my sister and I absolutely loved your interview on BroadwayWorld.com. The story about you seeing the boy who reminded you of yourself after you saw “Big: The Musical” made us smile.
